Mark joined TES in 2006 and is a Performance Enhancement Coach providing field support for the over 260 TES/BAI offices in North America. He is project leader for the key growth initiatives at TES such as the TOPs, Ambassador and PAID Initiative programs. In Mark’s field support role to the TES E-source Coaches and RDs nationally, he helps them establish and meet strategic goals and formulate and implement business plans. Mark is also called upon to provide support all the FranchisEsource Brands International (FSBI) brands for the Performance Enhancement Center training on systems and processes in the field.
Mark brings extensive experience from the franchise community to his position at TES, having spent more than 14 years in operations and training with multiple-brand franchisors. Mark started his career in franchising by opening the pilot store for a retail-based franchise system called BikeLine.
Mark and his staff gained outstanding sales and service awards from the franchisor for all seven years he was in business.
After selling his franchise, Mark worked as a Field Coach, Regional Manager and Trainer for an Automotive Franchisor, Cottman Transmission.
He then moved onto a Home Improvement Services Franchisor, TFC where he was promoted to Director of Marketing and then to VP of Training. While working with one of the national brands under TFC, CertaPro, Mark’s efforts help grow the revenue stream from $75 million to over $150 million.
Having grown up in a family that owned a franchise, and having been a franchisee himself as well as having worked for franchisors, Mark has a broad understanding of how to coach, train and work alongside franchisees.
